I have been supporting Outward Bound Monaco since 2005 - My son Sacha also went on an outward bound course in Wales - this is a very worth while organisation helping young people discover their true potential.

Background

In October 2003, Sir Donald Gosling hosted a gala dinner in aid of Outward Bound UK on board his yacht Leander, with both H.R.H. The Duke of York and the then H.S.H. Crown Prince Albert of Monaco in attendance. That evening the Duke launched a challenge to his fellow Prince: the setting up of Outward Bound Monaco! With his keenness and enthusiasm for helping young people, Prince Albert rose to the challenge and the idea for OB Monaco Association was born.

On 5th November 2004 we became a fully registered Monaco charity association. Our first aim is to sponsor young people educated in the Principality to attend a UK based Outward Bound course in 2005. However our greatest challenge and ultimate objective is to set up an adventure camp in and around Monaco to bring together and benefit young people both from the UK and Monaco in a new, challenging Monegasque Outward Bound experience.
