The British Association of the Alpes Maritimes is a registered charity which has been in existence for over 50 years. It is run solely by volunteers and aims to help a wide range of British residents (and visitors) providing help to those new to the area and for those who encounter unexpected problems such as illness, accidents, bereavement or financial difficulties.

Social events are held at different locations in the area eg Menton, Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Mouans Sartoux and Valbonne and prove invaluable for introducing members to one another. They also provide a valuable means of raising funds to support the welfare aims of the branch.
