Google's latest profit report states that Google's revenue for the 3 months to the end of September was $9.72 Billion! Much of this is generated with their AdSense service, which shows that Online Businesses are spending massive amounts of money on online advertising. The so-called “Cyber Monday” sales in the U.S. hit a new one-day record with online businesses taking $1.25 billion according to comScore (http://www.comscore.com). Cyber Monday has now extended into “Cyber Week” with Tuesday and Wednesday also having total sales of over $1 billion mark in sales each day.
